The recruitment process for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025 is moving ahead steadily, and candidates who took the written exam have an important update to act on. The Punjab Police has released the provisional answer key, and if you’ve appeared for the test, you have until 7 PM on June 23, 2025, to challenge any answer you believe is incorrect.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for constable posts was held between May 4 and June 8, attracting thousands of applicants across Punjab. On June 21, the police department uploaded the answer key and opened the window to raise objections. This means if you’ve spotted a mistake or have valid proof that an answer in the key is wrong, you can now submit your objection directly through the official portal — punjabpolice.gov.in.

But keep in mind, this isn’t just a formality. Any objection you raise must be backed with reliable documentation or proof. Unsubstantiated objections will be rejected, so make sure you have your references ready before submitting. After reviewing all valid objections, the board will publish a final answer key, which will be used to prepare the results.

This year, Punjab Police is aiming to fill a total of 1,746 constable vacancies, including 1,261 posts in the District Police Cadre and 485 in the Armed Police Cadre. The Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2025 follows a three-stage selection process. First comes the CBT, which includes two papers — Paper-I (scored) and Paper-II (qualifying only). If you pass this stage, you’ll move on to the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Screening Test (PST), both of which are qualifying in nature. The final step is Document Verification.

To submit an objection against the answer key, visit the official website, log in with your application credentials, and navigate to the answer key section. Select the question you want to challenge, upload your proof, and submit it. After that, you’ll get a confirmation — make sure to save a copy for future use.

This objection process is a vital part of the exam’s fairness and transparency. If your objection is accepted and the answer is updated, it could make a big difference in your overall score. Once the final answer key is published, Punjab Police will release the results for the written exam, and eligible candidates will be invited for the physical tests.

For now, your priority should be to review the answer key carefully and, if needed, raise your objection before the June 23 deadline. Meanwhile, those confident of qualifying are advised to begin light physical training and keep their documents ready.

As always, stay away from unofficial news or social media claims. Keep checking only the official portal punjabpolice.gov.in for accurate information.
